What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong Poker & Gambling Videos
Length: 2:18
Description: Impressive. One of this video watcher a "live book" about Armstrong. His message:
------------------------------------- Hi David, Sorry for taking so long to reply. I'm not on that video nor was I there. I'm a life-long Louis Armstrong nut so I know when he did everything. There are two books that I get my information about videos from, "All Of Me-The Complete Discography of Louis Armstrong" by Jos Willems & "Louis Armstrong On The Screen" by Dr. Klaus Stratemann. The Louis clip you posted is from the first of two BBC-TV shows. Each show was 45 minutes & they were taped on the same day, July 2, 1968. Aside from Louis the rest of the band is Tyree Glenn-trombone, Joe Muranyi-clarinet, Marty Napoleon-piano, Buddy Catlett-bass & Danny Barcelona-drums. Louis died three years later, on July 6, 1971. He was only on the road full time for another two months after this clip. By mid September of 1968 he was seriously ill in the hospital & was out of commisiion for most of 1969. I hope that's enough information for you. Best wishes, Phil ------------------------------ Phil, I am very been thankful by the information. Thank you so much. True to me. Most of the upcoming music has no singing or the singing is some mainstream so that it sounds like all the other "artists" who are popular these days. There's no sign of unique and inspiring glow in it. • Likkivi on 02-Dec-08 the coolest dude ever • joejoepassthemilk on 02-Dec-08 "he cant sing" ? he is a legend damnit, he can sing, try and get the darn "new age" artists to sing for real... • NightDawnSpectre on 02-Dec-08 so true • Queijin84 on 02-Dec-08 Wow what a wonderful song. • justicebarbarian on 02-Dec-08 Wow are his teeth really that bright or is the camara playing tricks. either way awesome song. • gamerlegend on 02-Dec-08 im norwegian too! do u speak norwegian? • doktoroverdose on 02-Dec-08 Listen, I'm Norwegian and I used to get made fun of but now I'm older (22) and some girls think it's attractive the way that I talk. I'm from Upstate New York and there's like a small clique of us Nords so it's pretty cool. I know what your talking about but at least your home now. • DBkid86 on 02-Dec-08 man he cant sing but it sounds good • Awesomeman1987 on 02-Dec-08 Gracias por demostrarle al mundo que la musica no tiene genero ni razas eso lo crearon los enfermos mentales,Tú Louis Armstrong nos diste una Leccion Universal de que no importa el color ni el pais con esa voz y ese talento fue suficiente para llegar a ser inmortal • luiss273 on 02-Dec-08 |
