What I found really interesting about this whole election was that Republicans said that the media was being "too hard" on Palin, when the truth was that they weren't hard enough! Admittedly, the personal attacks on Palin by some bloggers were sometimes over the line, but when Couric talks about her, she is so careful to put in words like "confident" and "cool, calm and collected" when she should actually have been saying, "This is just terrifying!", which is what Cafferty said.

They hate America because of their position on issues abroad. Example is a covert military program in which people from syria were slaughtered for no reason two months ago, civilian let me add. Our blind support for Israel without holding them accountable for the human rights abuses and the illegal occupations of Arab lands. That is why they hate us. Question- why do McCain supporters feel like they are so much more informed than Obama supporters? There have been so many comments discussing voter awareness and its getting a bit old. People abreast to political issues are able to vote just as people who are uninformed are- but, as many commentators seem to have ignored, guess what--it happens on both sides! So, there is really no point in continually bringing this point up as if its proves some point.

I agree, but where I come from, it's simply called "Bullshitting". She was so far out of her league, I think McCain and his people didn't realize it until it was too late. I think she's quite smart, but she just didn't have time to prepare for this. It seems like she got a late night phone call out of the blue, "You're in," and she thought "Great!" then, "WTF!"
